Which are a combination of any of Geotextiles, Geogrids/Geonets, Geomembranes. The materials and manufacturing methods vary with the composite Geosynthetics used. These are extensively used for geosynthetic applications.
VT GC Fin drains shall be made of light weight, three dimensional high compressive strength polyethylene core black in color ; they are resistant to chemical and biological conditions normally occurring in soil. Moreover they are treated with special additives to resist UV degradation. ; and heat bonded or needle punched polypropylene / polyester geotextile provided on one side or both sides of the core as per the requirements. The inner strands, thicker and heavier, provide high compressive resistance and transmissivity. The intersecting strands form overlaid sets of continuous deep channels which provide high flow capacity. These Findrain are used in Roads RE Wall, waste disposal and civil engineering projects, where a high hydraulic flow capacity is required.
Geotextile used in a drainage composite shall meet the requirements as specified in Table 700-9.(of morth) The properties of the core material shall meet the requirements as indicated in Table 700-10 (of morth).
Typical applications Site : Roads RE Wall , Levelling and mechanical protection of the geomembrane; drainage of the accidental leaks below primary ; leachate and rain water collection above primary geomembrane; mechanical protection of the geomembranes when in contact with waste-materials and/or soil; drainage of liquids and gases present in the soil above and/or below the capping geomembrane.
